Clinic Director, Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry
Ronald E. Jung is Professor and Director of the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich. He has extensive experience in prosthodontics, implant dentistry and oral surgery. In his career, he has taught and conducted research at several prestigious institutions around the world, including the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, and the University in Amsterdam, where he received his PhD.
In 2015, he was appointed Full Professor Ad Personam of Implantology at the University of Zurich and headed the Division of Implantology at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry. In 2022, he assumed the position of Clinic Director and Full Professor of the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at University of Zurich. Ronald Jung is internationally known for his work in hard and soft tissue management as well as his research in new technologies in implant dentistry and reconstructive dentistry. He is currently president of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), past president of the Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry (SSRD) and a member of the board of the Osteology Foundation.
